Quite a morning...

 "QUITE A MORNING WE HAD. We cleared up the clothes that were just dumped in the car park at Sheppards Park. We found it difficult to ignore, and we blame the influence of our kaumatua Whaea Jo who cannot tolerate a mess being left behind in our public places 😏 We also helped 2 cars that broke down on Rangatira Road only 1 meter away from each other. One of the drivers needed petrol ⛽ and couldn't walk due to ankle injury, so we drove her to the Caltex ourselves. A really nice lady who shares our passion for the volunteering lifestyle. We hope she finds her perfect new home here and we will see her again. "BAD THINGS WILL HAPPEN. NOT NEGOTIABLE. HOW WE DEAL WITH IT....IS" - Keanu Reeves.

   Today was amazing! We not only helped many local car and tool owners protecting their assets, but we reached a milestone. This event is proof that a small group of committed people working together can change things. Thanks to the support of Beach Haven Birkdale Residents Association, RSA Birkenhead, and Beach Haven Tennis Club we were able to get here.  Special thanks to Sgt. D. Murden, who gave valuable advice about crime prevention to the attendants. We're locals, volunteering to improve safety in our neighbourhood. Get in touch if you wanna join us.
